This update version will allow the pinning of up to five favorites.
    • GPU. A recent driver update to certain GPUs could cause an end user to see a blank screen upon the launch of Microsoft Edge if the end user is running version 80 and has not been updated to version 84 for existing end users, updating their Microsoft Edge browser to the latest version (version 84 or greater) will fix the issue.
    • Icons. An issue with tile migration that could cause icons for pinned Office applications to appear smaller than expected and Start pins to appear in the all apps list.

The new supplemental OPK will include Microsoft Edge version 84 and the part number will be available soon.

    • Microsoft recommends that OEMs preinstall and distribute the Office OPK 20H2 and grants a limited, one-time waiver to the OEM Policy Document (OPD) “Desktop_1” requirement, specifically, the requirement that any preinstalled SW “must remove all files or settings when an end user uninstalls the software.” The waiver is limited to the Office OPK 20H2 for this issue and in place for as long as an OEM is permitted to distribute it.
