OEM Activation (OA) 3.0 Partner Test Environment Planned System Maintenance

Summary

The OA 3.0 communications contain details about the following subjects:

• OA 3.0 Partner Test environment planned system maintenance, December 02, 2018, through December 12, 2018, which includes significant changes in the back end OA3.0 system.

Important:

Strong recommendation to test core functionality prior to Production deployment.

Attention:

• The OA 3.0 Partner Test environment is scheduled to undergo system maintenance in preparation for the November Quarterly Release from Sunday, December 02, 2018, at 9:00 P.M. Pacific Time (UTC-8), until Wednesday, December 12, 2018, at 5:00 P.M. Pacific Time (UTC-8). All OA 3.0 customers using the Partner Test environment will be impacted during this maintenance.
• The system maintenance will delete all the transactional data history from the current test period beginning on May 26, 2018. No activities are required by the OEMs to prepare the test environment for this system maintenance.
• The system maintenance will include significant changes to the OA 3.0 system back- end and therefore Microsoft strongly recommends that all partners test core functionality prior to the Production deployment on Sunday, December 02, 2018.
• Additional details and preparatory activities required will be communicated via your Microsoft OAM.

Action:

• Microsoft strongly recommends that all Partners test core functionality of their solutions against the OA 3.0 Partner Test environment prior to the Production deployment on Sunday, December 02, 2018.
