Effective December 1, 2021: Windows Processor List

  • Added Qualcomm SD 7c+ to List A
  • No other changes made to the November processor list per confirmation from Intel, AMD, and Qualcomm.

Effective November 1, 2021: Windows Processor List

No new processors added and no changes to the October 2021 processor list.

Effective October 1, 2021 Windows Processor List

  1. No changes made in the September processor list per confirmation from Intel, AMD and Qualcomm.
  2. The status of the new processors added in September is changed to “Current”.

Effective September 1, 2021 Windows Processor List

  1. Added AMD Ryzen 7 (including PRO) GE series to List D.
  2. Added AMD Ryzen 7 (including PRO) No Suffix Model Numbers 1700,3700,5800 to List D.
  3. Added AMD Ryzen 7 (including PRO) XT series to List E.
  4. Added AMD Ryzen Threadripper (including PRO) X, WX series to List E.
  5. Added Intel Core i7 <=16 Threads processors with Part/Processor Numbers to List F.
  6. Added new Intel Core i7>16 Threads processors with Part/Processor Numbers to List G.

Effective February 1, 2021: Windows Processor List

As previously announced in May 2020, the Processor List has been simplified to align with the Windows Product Placemat and Windows 10 Price List also effective February 1, 2021. The following is a summary of those detailed changes:

General Simplification. Consolidated multiple processor lists mapped to lower end SKUs into one list, now shown in List A.

Qualcomm Processors; Windows for ARM

  • All lower end SKUs, across Windows 10 Home, Windows 10 Pro, and Windows 10 Pro National Academic Only (StF Program) include mapping to Qualcomm processors (prior versions included only Intel and AMD mappings).
  • The new Windows 10 Pro Value SKU includes ARM-based offerings through mapping of Windows for ARM OPKs to generally available SKUs; there are no new standalone Windows 10 Pro Value Windows for ARM SKUs.

AMD Ryzen 7. Updated within List D and List E by reclassifying AMD processors (only) by Series Name.

  2. Based on feedback from AMD, Pro has been added back to Threadripper starting August 2020, notes added to List E and List T tab
