The preview version of the Windows Price Lists and Product Terms effective October 1, 2018 (RS5) has been posted for OEM review and feedback as part of the Ecosystem Engagement and Planning ("EEP") engagement. This communication provides an overview of the proposed key changes and links to the Windows Price Lists and Product Terms. All changes are draft and are subject to change for final Windows Price List and Product Terms release.

We welcome and appreciate your continued feedback. Please provide your written feedback to your Microsoft account manager no later than June 8, 2018.

Microsoft is continuing to solicit feedback from OEMs on the SKU reduction implementation we introduced at AMP for RS5 and RS6.  To capture the Windows 10 Pro and Windows 10 Home Hardware Restricted SKU consolidation in the preview version of the Windows Price Lists and Product terms, the document was drafted as if the individual form factor SKUs will be consolidated into the Windows 10 Pro for Entry Tablet & 2 in 1 SKUs, Windows 10 Pro for Value Tablet & 2 in 1 SKUs and the Windows 10 Home for Entry Tablet & 2 in 1 Single Language and Windows 10 Home for Value Tablet and 2 in 1 Single Language SKU.

For Example: The hardware configurations for the Windows 10 Pro for Small Tablet & 2 in 1, Windows 10 Pro for Small Tablet & 2 in 1, Windows 10 Pro for Entry Tablet & 2 in 1, Windows 10 Pro for Entry Notebook, Windows 10 Pro for Entry Desktop and AIO and Windows 10 Pro for Stick PC SKU would all be consolidated into the Windows 10 Pro for Entry Tablet & 2 in 1 SKU which would be renamed Windows 10 Pro for Entry.

Microsoft will communicate the final SKU reduction implementation plan in June. The final Windows Price Lists and Product Terms document will reflect the final SKU reduction implementation plan.
