Information Protection and Governance specialization

Program Overview and Requirements

Program Overview

Validate your organization’s capabilities to deploy Microsoft Information Protection workloads and provide proactive strategies that enhance data security for customers, with the Information Protection and Governance specialization.

With the exponential growth of data and increasing data mobility, customers need expert guidance on implementing effective information protection solutions, and they need strategic insights that allow them to better manage and mitigate the risks associated with unstructured data—all while ensuring compliance with regulations across different regions, such as the General Data Protection Regulation.

The Information Protection and Governance specialization allows partners with an active Solutions Partner for Security designation to differentiate their organizations, validate their capabilities, and build stronger connections with customers. This opportunity is available only to partners who meet stringent service delivery and support requirements.

Partners who earn an specialization will have a customer-facing label displayed on their business profile page and be prioritized in customer searches in Microsoft AppSource.

How do I apply?

Only the administrator of your organization’s Microsoft partner account can submit an application for the Information Protection and Governance specialization. If you are the administrator, apply by logging in to your Partner Center account and navigating to the Specializations section of your dashboard.
